Eligibility for Virginia Museum Of Fine Arts - Visual Arts Fellowships in US, 2023:

• The applicant must be a US national, as well as a current legal resident of Virginia.
• The fellowship is open to Professional Artists, Graduate, and Undergraduate candidates.
• Professional Artists must not be a degree-seeking student at the time of the application.
• Graduate and Undergraduate Candidates planning to be enrolled full-time an accredited college, university, or school of the arts are considered.

Exclusions:

• Full-time VMFA employees are not eligible.
• Recipients of three or more Fellowships in any category cannot apply.

Documents required:

• Applicants are required to submit their academic transcripts.
• A 200-word artistic statement must be submitted.
• A copy of an updated CV must be provided.
• Applicants must prepare sample work files for submission.
