The Vernon Brown Memorial Award was established to recognize excellence in the Bachelor of Architectural Studies within the School of Architecture and Planning at the University of Auckland.

- The Vernon Brown Memorial Award 2022 will be awarded annually to the full-time student achieving the highest mark in the studio component of Part III of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies.

The Vernon Brown Memorial Award 2022 will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Head of the School of Architecture and Planning. In the event of a tie, the Head of the School of Architecture and Planning will determine, in consultation with academic staff, if the Vernon Brown Memorial Award 2022 may be shared.
