Introduction
The International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) Scholarship,Internship and Research Programme is currently accepting applications for scholarships to be undertaken in 2023.
A limited number of research scholarships (1000€ per month) will be granted to outstanding post-graduate (doctoral) law students, lawyers, academics and government officials to undertake two months of research in the UNIDROIT library (exceptionally, scholarships can also be granted for three months. Candidates that are unsuccessful in applying for a funded scholarship may instead be invited to undertake a research stay at UNIDROIT on an unfunded basis.
During their research period at UNIDROIT, Scholars may be invited to deliver a short workshop on their topic. Following their research period, scholars are encouraged to consider submitting a paper to the Uniform Law Review for publication (https://academic.oup.com/ulr).
All scholarships must be undertaken in-person at the UNIDROIT Headquarters in Rome, Italy
