UNHR Fellowship Program for People of African Descent, 2017 will provide applicants with an opportunity to grow their understanding of the United Nations human rights system, instruments, and mechanisms, focusing issues of relevance to people of African descent.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants of UNHR Fellowship Program for People of African Descent, 2017 must be a person of African descent living in the Diaspora.
- At least four years of work experience related to the rights of People of African Descent is required.
- Applicants are required to have enough command over the English language to be able to fully participate in the program.
- Candidates applying for UNHR Fellowship Program for People of African Descent, 2017 should submit a letter from an organization working on minority rights certifying their status or issues related to People of African Descent.
- Applicants must be available for the complete program.
