International Journalists Program (IJP) are offering for the eighteenth time a travel and work fellowship for up to five young journalists from the Middle East, especially from Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel and Palestine to spend a two-month period in Germany. We are doing this in cooperation with governmental institutions, foundations and sponsors in Germany and the Middle East.
Eligibility criteria for The Middle East Fellowship in Germany, 2022 :
- The fellowship is open to all Middle East nationals especially those from Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, and Palestine are preferred.
- Applicants who are 21 years of age or over and working as a trainee, journalist or regular employee for media are encouraged to apply for The Middle East Fellowship in Germany, 2022.
- Applicants must be 37 years of age.
- Applicants are required to be fluent in English.
- Applicants familiar with German are welcome to apply.
Documents Required:

- A detailed copy curriculum vitae must be submitted.
- Candidates are required to present their journalistic appraisal written by the head of the department or editor-in-chief.
