South Australia Department of Education STEM Scholarships 2022 offered by the Government of South Australia for school students to pursue science and Mathematics in School. The value of the scholarship is $2000 for costs associated with teacher-mentor support plus additional budget items.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must be commencing SACE Stage 1 in 2022 to complete SACE Stage 2
- Must be enrolled in a government school
- Must be the holder of a school card (not required for Aboriginal learners)
- Must be demonstrating an interest in STEM subjects (C minimum in year 10 maths and science)
- Must be intending to pursue at least 1 of the following SACE Stage 2 subjects; Mathematics (Methods or Specialist), Chemistry or Physics
- Must be willing to participate in a mentoring program held in a location other than the student's school
- Must be willing to attend a STEM scholarship induction with the teacher-mentor.
