Robin Oliver Tax Policy Scholarship was established in 2019 in recognition of Robin Oliver, a former Inland Revenue Deputy Commissioner and expert on the New Zealand tax system. The intention of the Scholarship is to encourage and support a student to undertake postgraduate study in the area of tax law at the University of Auckland.
Eligibility for Robin Oliver Tax Policy Scholarship 2022:
- Students should enroll full-time at the University of Auckland in postgraduate study in the Faculty of Law related to tax law.
- Students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand.
- To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) or grade point equivalent (GPE) of 7.00 (6.50 for Māori and Pacific candidates) in their most recent qualifying programme for study.
Value of Robin Oliver Tax Policy Scholarship 2022:
- One Scholarship will be awarded annually, for a period of up to one year and will be of the value of up to $5,000. Payments and tenure will be pro-rated for part-time students. Payment will be made in one lump sum in the third week of the first semester of enrollment.
The Scholarship is awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Selection Committee and further details can be found on the university website. The last date for the application is 30 August 2022
