Volkswagen Foundation's Opus Magnum Scholarship in Germany, 2022

Eligibility for Volkswagen Foundation's Opus Magnum Scholarship in Germany, 2022:

• The applicants should have a permanent position as a professor at a German university.
• The funding may not be provided for editing volumes, textbooks, translations, and manuals.

Documents Required:

• The applicants should submit a cover letter which should include the proposed recipient of funds.
• A copy of project outline in English and German in a maximum of one page.
• A detailed project description should be submitted in a maximum of 12 pages which should include the details of objectives, innovation potential and the methods to be employed.
• List of publications done by the candidate shall be mentioned.
• A detailed CV of the applicant.
• The time, work plan and the recurring costs for the project should be mentioned.
• Applicants are also asked to submit a description of publication concept and the letter of interest by a publishing company.

Value of Volkswagen Foundation's Opus Magnum Scholarship in Germany, 2022:

• The successful applicant will receive up to EUR 180,000
• The Volkswagen Foundation's Opus Magnum Scholarship will fund a substitute professorship for a leave of absence of 6 months to up to 18 months and up to 5,000 Euros per semester for further non-personnel expenses for the candidate.
