Falak Sufi Scholarship at New York University 2023

The Graduate School of Arts and Science of New York University is offering scholarships to honor the memory of Falak Sufi and to provide support to students from South Asian countries with a majority Islamic population.

Eligibility for New York University Falak Sufi Scholarship:

• The scholarships are awarded to pursue a master’s program in Near Eastern Studies.
• The applicants who are eligible for the master's program in Near Eastern Studies are eligible for this scholarship.
• The candidates for the joint degree in Journalism, the concentration with Museum Studies, and the business track are also eligible for this scholarship.
• The candidates should have the commitment to the role of women in academia and the study of gender in the South Asian, Middle Eastern, and Near Eastern countries with a majority of the Islamic population.

Documents required:

• The admission application is also the application for the scholarship.
• The students are not required to submit any additional forms.
• The applicants should add a personal statement in the admission application stating they meet the scholarship criteria and how the scholarship will help them to pursue their graduation if they want to be considered for the scholarship.
