Eligibility criteria:
- All undergraduate and postgraduate students of any discipline in a recognized Indian University/ College/ Institute can apply for GNLU Essay Competition on Law and Society, 2017.
- An author can submit only one essay.
- A maximum of 2 students can co-author.
Submission Guidelines:
- Essays in 3000 – 5000 words excluding footnotes must be submitted in English.
- Submissions must be the original work of the authors.
- Plagiarism will result in disqualification.
- Essays submitted/selected for publication or essays that are already published will not be considered.
- Authors shouldn't mention their names anywhere in the essay.
- Essays must maintain Times New Roman, Font Size 12 and Line Spacing 1.5.
- Footnotes must maintain Times New Roman, Font Size 10 and Line Spacing 1.
- Citations must follow Harvard Bluebook, 19th Edition.
- Texts must be justified and essays must have margins of 1” or 2.54 cm.
