The main purpose of the Prize is to reward the best performance in a research project by a student enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Postgraduate Diploma in Arts or a Master of Arts in English.
Eligibility for David Wright Prize in English at University of Auckland 2022:
- The Prize will be awarded annually to the full-time student who achieved the highest mark in a research project, dissertation, or thesis undertaken for a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Postgraduate Diploma in Arts, or a Master of Arts, in English.
- As a minimum standard, the student should have achieved an A- grade.
Value of David Wright Prize in English at University of Auckland 2022:
- The value of the David Wright Prize in English at University of Auckland 2022 will be NZD 500.
In the event of a tie, the Prize will be awarded to the student at the highest level of study. The Prize will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council upon the recommendation of the Deputy Head (Academic) (or nominee) in consultation with the Discipline Convenor of English.
