China Scholarships Council (CSC) Joint Research Scholarships 2022

The China Scholarships Council (CSC) joint research scholarships 2022 are open to Chinese nationals intending to begin a PhD in the 2022 academic year at University of York. They will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and CSC priorities.

Eligibility:

• Applicant must be a citizen and permanent resident of the People's Republic of China at the time of application.
• Applicant must hold an unconditional offer for a full-time PhD degree programme at the University of York commencing in Autumn 2022.
• Applicant must fulfill any English language requirements of the offer by 07 February 2020.
• Applicant must satisfy the eligibility and selection criteria set out by the CSC as mentioned on its website.

Value of the scholarship:

The China Scholarships Council (CSC) joint research scholarships 2022 funding includes full coverage of tuition fees for the entire duration of the course, a grant for living costs, one return flight from China and UK visa fees. 

Application process:

The applicant must first apply to University of York for the PhD they're interested in and must receive the offer letter by 7th February 2022. After they receive an offer of study, they must then be nominated by their academic department for the scholarship. If they are nominated, the applicant must apply directly to the CSC.
